Betsy graduated from Seton Hill University and was raised in the countryside of York, Pennsylvania, where most of her friends were animals. She is a classical flutist, whose musical training contributes to the rhythmic and melodious quality
of her stories.

Presently, Betsy lives in the Shadyside neigborhood of Pittsburgh, Pa with her
dog, Henry. She teaches French and still plays and teaches the flute.

Peter Reynolds is the youngest of Betsy's four children. He graduated from
Central Catholic High School and then the University of Pittsburgh.

Peter's early study of the French horn and his great love of all types of music
led to his career as a sound engineer and designer. He currently works for
Warner Brothers Studios in Los Angeles, Ca.
